Welcome to SoleTies
Welcome to SoleTies — a movement built on faith, community, and connection. What began as a few friends running together has become a space where purpose meets pace. Every stride we take reflects who we are: consistent, accountable, and united in spirit.
How It Started
SoleTies began with a small group of entrepreneurs who wanted to start their Wednesday mornings with movement and meaningful connection. What started as a few friends running together quickly grew as more people joined — not just for the miles, but for the sense of community, accountability, and purpose it created.
As the group expanded, it became clear that SoleTies was more than just a run club — it was a movement. A space where people could build consistency, foster genuine friendships, and strengthen both their physical and mental wellness.
In February 2025, Robel Yemane, Ogechukwu Madu, Kiante Northington, and Jazzlin Hamilton officially established SoleTies as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to empowering the Houston community through movement, wellness, and connection — building one stride at a time.

Our Mission
At SoleTies Run Club, our mission is to foster transformational experiences through authentic human connection, one runner at a time. Rooted in our core pillars of accountability, consistency, community, empowerment, and faith, we are a collaborative and inclusive space where every stride strengthens the bond between people. We are committed to building a culture where relationships thrive and lives are meaningfully impacted.
Our Vision
SoleTies is more than a run club — it's a movement. We are a collaborative and inclusive space where every stride strengthens relationships and uplifts lives. Through monthly runs, social gatherings, mental wellness initiatives, and community outreach, we are building a culture where people don't just run — they rise.
Our Culture
In a world that often feels divided, distracted, and disconnected, genuine human connection has become one of the rarest and most transformative experiences a person can have. Here's how we live it out, one Wednesday morning, one Saturday run, one Sole N' Sip at a time.
A Culture of Authentic Connection
We were created for a relationship with God and with one another, and SoleTies Run Club was born from that conviction. The run is the starting line, but the true heartbeat of what happens here is belonging. Every shared mile is a reminder that no one is meant to do life alone.
A Culture of Transformation, Not Transaction
We don't gather to impress, compete, or network. We gather to see people. In a society obsessed with status and surface, SoleTies offers a space where you can show up exactly as you are. Titles don't matter here — your story does. That's why we introduce ourselves with our names and our stories, not our résumés. We listen before we lead, and we pursue real conversations that go beyond the small talk.
A Culture of Consistency and Care
We believe consistency is how we care for ourselves and others. Many arrive carrying the weight of exhaustion, disappointment, or disconnection, and what restores them isn't a single event but a steady rhythm of presence in community. Our faithfulness to one another, showing up week after week, creates the safety people need to exhale and belong.
A Culture of Faith in Action
Everything we do flows from our desire to reflect the love and character of God in Christ. We believe leadership begins with service, and true greatness is found in humility — "Whoever wants to be great among you must be your servant" (Matthew 20:26). Our faith is revealed through how we show up, care for others, and lead with integrity. At SoleTies, we don't just talk about God's love — we live it, one stride and one soul at a time.
The Five Pillars That Guide Us
Our values are the rhythm of who we are and how we lead. Each pillar guides our behaviors — the way we build relationships, make decisions, serve one another, and contribute to our community.
Faith — We lead with purpose, grounded in values that reflect love, grace, and integrity.
Accountability — We honor our word, own our actions, and follow through.
Empowerment — We lift others higher, creating space for growth and belonging.
Consistency — We show up faithfully, recognizing that trust is built through reliability.
Community — We lead with unity, humility, and respect — valuing each voice and stride.
Come Run With Us
Every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday, we lace up across Houston. First Saturdays, we slow it down for Sole N' Sip — coffee, conversation, and a 3-mile shake-out. New faces always welcome.
